News for Tuesday, May 10th, 2016
- According to WALA-TV, the mothers of some members of their local news operation were interviewed on one of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.") this past Monday on the ninth day of this May (one of the mothers was a member of the operation herself).
- Some news tickers that usually appeared on local news programs for
WPMI-TV and WEAR-TV on continuous bases in recent times were absent from
their local news programmings this past Monday (both WPMI-TV and WEAR-TV were members of the same company: the Sinclair Broadcast Group).
- WKRG-TV had a report about a "red-tailed hawk" perching on an antenna for their broadcast tower in Mobile on their local midday news program ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") this past Monday (the person who presented the report on the program (Devon Walsh) had admitted that they "just wanted to show him (the hawk)" while presenting the report).
