- WALA-TV had video of a live news conference about an airplane that was built in Mobile recently on part of a local TV program of theirs dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles ("Studio 10") this Tuesday.
- WALA-TV was set to be part of a contest in which a different word would appear on one of their local 9:00 p.m. news programs (all of which were named "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") on a daily basis so that members of their audience could complete the entry form for the contest on their official Facebook page.
