• A video recording from a camera for WALA-TV that was mentioned in their local news programming last Thursday on the twenty-eighth day of this past April was uploaded onto their official Facebook page by then.

• One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Chad Petri) started using the phrase "hitting the post" to end their local news programs for Saturday and Sunday mornings ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday" and "WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") on a regular basis during the previous calendar week. 

• Last Friday on the twenty-ninth day of this April, one of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Bob Grip) used the last segment of their local 10:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") to present a tribute to a person he said was a producer for the program (Cameron Atkins) and that this Friday was his last day to be its producer due to his plan to relocate to the state of Tennessee with a friend of his (the tribute included a description of what he did in his position and videos of him in their broadcast facility, including one in which he appeared to be watching his own tribute as the news presenter told him to wave (he never did)).
