from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)

News for Wednesday, May 18th, 2016

The radio network for Mississippi Public Broadcasting had a new edition of a weekly radio program of theirs named "Everyday Tech" for the first time in three calendar weeks this Wednesday (an article about why was posted onto this weblog last Thursday on the twelfth day of this May).*

WALA-TV had an audio recording of what one of the news reporters for their local news operation (Kati Weis) said was a telephone call concerning her in a report she did for their local 9:00 p.m. news program for Monday through Friday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") this past Tuesday on the seventeenth day of this May.

WKRG-TV was set to have a series of news reports about a member of their local news operation (a news reporter named Allen Carter) giving tours of Mobile to members of its government and a fellow member of the news operation (a news presenter named Mel Showers) in their TV programming this calendar week.

(*some parts of southwest Alabama are part of the broadcast area for one of the radio stations in the radio network for Mississippi Public Broadcasting (WMAH-FM to be precise))
