News for Saturday, January 10th, 2015
- One of the news presenters for WKRG-TV's local news programming (Rose Ann Haven) referred to a recent graduate of the police academy in Mobile in two different ways for their local news programming this past Friday: she had referred to him by only his last name while presenting a report about him and other recent graduates of the police academy on their local 6:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 6") that day in spite of the video for the report having a graphic with both his first name and last name. As for the second way she referred to him, she had used both his first name and last name while narrating a different version of the report that was recorded in advance of its broadcast later that day as part of their local 10:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 10").
