• A producer for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Carly Bragg) appeared to be doing traffic reports on the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Saturday (the names of the programs were "FOX 10 News at 6:00 [a.m.]" and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 [a.m.]").  

• The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV was set to have local news programming (under the name "Channel 3 News at Five") during the first and second halves of an hour when it was usually set to have a paid commercial program (or "infomercial") and a national news program from their main provider of network programming ("World News Tonight" from the American Broadcasting Company (ABC)) on Saturday evenings in recent times this Saturday (the hour of 5:00 p.m.).
