- A national TV news program ("CBS This Morning") had a report about some public meetings in southwest Alabama involving a member of the House of Representatives of the United States originally for this area (Bradley Byrne) this past Friday on the twenty-first day of this April.
- Some videos of what appeared to had been a local radio program dedicated to news and discussions ("Mobile Mornings") were uploaded onto a Facebook page attributed to one of it contributors (a news presenter named Kelly Jones) and shared with the official Facebook page for its station (WAVH-FM).*
- The news presenter for the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Saturday (Kati Weis of "FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") said, "You're watching your only local news at 6:00 a.m." in the introduction to the one that appeared on the channel during the hour of 6:00 a.m. in spite of the main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV having a local news program during the same hour.**
