News for Sunday, April 16th, 2017

One of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Michael White) said another one of its weather reporters (Matt Barrentine) was a "TV heart throb" while saying he was "filling in" for him on the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel this past Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").

A page with information from a list of TV stations (under the words "Phase Assignment") stated to be getting new radio frequency channels (RF channels) as a result of an auction officiated by the Federal Communications Commission (the FCC) this past March was added to this weblog this Sunday (the auction was about electronic spectrum used in broadcasting).

A certain video without audio was used to supplements presentations of a report about a festival in the city of Fairhope in southwest Alabama on the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the evening hours of this past Saturday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") and the morning hours of this Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.").
