News for Tuesday, April 25th, 2017
- A Facebook page attributed to a church based in the city of Chickasaw in southwest Alabama (Word of Life Community Church) had amendments dating back to the previous calendar week about a new TV station of theirs (named WGOX-LD) being "on the air" (a Facebook page about the station itself had amendments about it being "on the air" dating back to this past February)).
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this past Monday on the twenty-fourth day of this April (Devon Walsh of "WKRG News 5 at Noon") had referred to a reporter for their holding (or "parent") company (the Nexstar Media Group) only by both his professional name ("correspondent") and his personal name (Drew Petrimoulnx) while introducing him on the program (he appeared to be the city of Washington in the District of Columbia as part of his appearance on the program).
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV was set to have special programming about a live automobile race from their main provider of network programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) in place of syndicated programs that were usually part of its
programming during the hours of 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times this past Monday (the race was delayed from occurring last Sunday on the twenty-third day of this April (if it had not been delayed, the channel probably would have special programming about it from the same provider of network programming that day (it had syndicated programs during the hours when it could have had it that day (the hours of 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.)).
