- The official Facebook page for WAVH-FM had video of what appeared to be a segment of one of their local radio programs ("Mobile Mornings"*) as it was being broadcast this past Friday on the thirty-first day of this past March (a statement about it being the very last for one of its regular hosts (Wayne Gardner) was posted with the video).
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Friday (Bob Grip on "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") used its last segment to talk about one of the news reporters for their local news operation (Rudy Harper) leaving them for a position at one of their "sister stations" (he did not say the name of the station (KCTV-TV**) or the names of its city and state (the city of Fairway in the state of Kansas (he said he would in a city nearby named "Kansas City").
- Some of the breaks for broadcasting promotional advertisements on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had an advertisement for their local news operation with audio of a professional announcer (Jeff Davis) saying they would have two of their local news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 6 [p.m.]" and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30 [p.m.]") broadcast from different locations over the course of four weeks this April (beginning with the University of South Alabama in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama next Tuesday on the fourth day of this April).
(**KCTV-TV and WALA-TV were members of the same holding (or "parent") company (the Meredith Corporation))
