News for Sunday, April 9th, 2017
- The news presenter for local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first halves of the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. this Sunday (Andrea Ramey of "Local 15 News at 5 p.m." and "Local 15 News at 10 p.m.") said their broadcast tower would be off "for up to four hours" at the beginning of the next day (she actually said the word "midnight" in reference to the beginning of the next day (or the beginning of the hour of 12:00 a.m.)) in order for some "workers" to do some "maintenance work" on its "tower light".
- A member of WKRG-TV who mainly did reports about parts of northwest Florida (such as its city of Pensacola) for their local news operation in recent times (Hayley Minogue) was the news presenter for the local news programs that appeared on their main broadcast channel this past Saturday evening back on the eighth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 6" 20 minutes after the beginning of the hour of 6:00 p.m. and ten minutes before the hour of 7:00 p.m. and "WKRG News 5 at 10" during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day) and the one that appeared on the channel this Sunday evening ("WKRG News 5 at 10" during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Sunday).
- The news presenter for the editions of the local news programs mentioned in the previous paragraph appeared to be expressing herself while presenting some of its reports (she said, "A lucky break for procrastinators like me" for the one about federal income tax returns in the United States are initially due this calendar year being later than usual before raising her voice to say the word "boom" and the phrase "Team USA takes the gold" for the one about a group of hockey players representing the United States ("Team USA") winning a game of hockey against a team representing the nation of Canada).
