- A recording of a special TV program (about "healthcare in Alabama") that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV this past Wednesday on the fifth day of this April was available on the official World Wide Web site for their companion station (WPMI-TV).*
- A producer (of programming) and manager (of social communications) for WAVH-FM (Dalton Orwig) had assumed the role of "co-hosting" one of their local radio programs ("Mobile Mobile") after one of its regular hosts (Wayne Gardner) retired from it last Friday on the thirsty-first day of last March.
- One of the news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:30 p.m. this Thursday (Mel Showers for "WKRG News 5 at 6:30") had referred to a news presenter for a TV station based in the city of Augusta in the state of Georgia (Brad Means of WJBF-TV) as if he were a colleague (or "co-worker") while introducing him for what appeared to be a live report** for the program (this is the way he was introduced: "News 5's Brad Means is covering the [Masters] tournament for us. He's live at Augusta National Golf Club where today it was all about Arnold [Palmer]***" (he (Brad Means) was even holding a microphone with a logo for WKRG-TV (it also had a logo for WFNA-TV)).****
(**there were no references to WJBF-TV in the report)
(***a former professional golfer who died in the previous calendar year (2016))
(****WKRG-TV, WJBF-TV, and WFNA-TV had the same owners as members of a separate holding company (the Nexstar Media Group))
