- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had an advertisement for a local
news program in which only about 43 percent of its regular time period
for appearing on the channel from Monday through Friday was promoted
(the entire time period included the second half of the hour of 4:00
a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., and 8:00 a.m.;
the part of that time promoted in the advertisement included the hours
of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.; as for how part of that was promoted in the
advertisement, it included announcements (delivered by a professional
announcer named Greg O'Neill) such as, "Only FOX 10 News keeps it local from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m" and, "The
only local news from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m").*
(*the advertisements for both of those news programs in recent
times usually did not proper names for them, even though the official
World Wide Web site for WALA-TV usually did until sometime between this
past February and this April ("FOX 10 News in the Morning"))
