News for Sunday, April 23rd, 2017
- The host of a local radio program dedicated to news and public affairs (Beverly McDowell of "In Touch Gulf Coast" for Cumulus Media of Mobile (the operators of WBLX-FM, WDLT-FM, WABD-FM, WGOK-AM, and WXQW-AM)) had used its installment for this Sunday to talk about whom it would have as guests in future installments (it usually did not have such announcements in its installments by this Sunday).
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Sunday (Chad Petri of "WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") did not mention the name of the TV station for the news operation he said was the one for the news reporter he said "had the story (or narrative)" for one of news videos he had presented on the program (the name of the reporter was Jack Fink; the name of the station for the reporter was KTVT-TV (in the city of Fort Wort in the state of Texas); the name of the news operation for the station was "CBS 11 News").
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. this past Saturday on the twenty-second day of this April (Kati Weis of "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") said a camera operator for their local news operation (Daeshen Smith) was speaking with some organizers of an event at Battleship Memorial Park near the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama to get "a few more details about what's going on" before asking, "How's it going, everyone?" and wishing him and a guest of the program (the executive director of the park (Jada Cobb)) "good morning" before conducting an interview with the guest.
