- A video about a
plan to have two local news programs for WKRG-TV ("WKRG News 5 at 6
[p.m.]" and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30 [p.m.]") broadcast from a furniture
store (named McAleer's Office Furniture) next Tuesday on the eighteenth
day of this April was uploaded onto a YouTube channel connected to the store store by this Thursday.
- One of regular hosts for a local TV program dedicated to
entertainment and lifestyles (Chasity Byrd* of "Studio 10" for WALA-TV) was said to be on a "honeymoon" as part of a discussion about her between its other regular host (Joe Emer) and a substitute for her (a weather reporter for WALA-TV named Michael White) in its installment for this Thursday (they had talked about her getting married being the reason for this "honeymoon" in a earlier
installment (it was broadcast this past Monday on the tenth day
of this April)).
- One
of the news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the
main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this
past Tuesday on the eleventh day of this April (Bob Grip of "FOX 10 News
at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to be using the last few seconds of its installment for that day to share a moment in his life to entice the audience for the program to see and/or hear him present a report related to it for the local news program that appeared on the channel
afterwards during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. ("FOX 10 News
at 10:00 p.m.") that day (this is what he said: "I filled up my car today. I didn't like what
I noticed at the pump. That's right, gas prices are up. We're taking a
look at the numbers next").
(*she was also a weather reporter for WALA-TV)
