- Some members of the local news operation at WALA-TV said some of their fellow members were reading parts of a report from an investigation of the governor of Alabama (Robert Bentley) while video of those members appearing to do so (with computer screens) was shown on some of their local news programs this past Friday on the seventh day of this April (the official Facebook page for WALA-TV had some video of some of them still appearing to do so afterwards that day).
- Some members of WALA-TV (including news presenters) had been using the phrase "crisis in the capitol" in reference to their news reports about efforts to impeach the governor of Alabama on some of their local TV programs on a regular basis since this past March (including local news programs and a local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10")).
- One of the radio hosts for WAVH-FM (Sean Sullivan) appeared to be talking about how he felt about a public apology by the governor of Alabama in some videos used on some of the the local news programs for WKRG-TV since this past Friday (the official World Wide Web site for WKRG-TV had one of those videos).
