(note: some information was added to a previous report for this weblog named "News for Sunday, July 8th, 2018" (including phrases such as "radio frequency channel" and "virtual channel" for one of its paragraphs)).
- The main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV and WFGX-TV both appeared to have had a program named "American Ninja Warrior" during the hour of 8:00 p.m. this Friday (note: some World Wide Web site related to some providers of some of their programming in recent times (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) for WPMI-TV and MyNetworkTV for WFGX-TV) appeared to have had certain sections dedicated to a program by that name by the time this report was posted.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday
of the eleventh day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared
to have had its news presenter (Byron Day)
saying, "Baxter you keep fighting; we're all behind you" immediately
after appearing to have had a certain video involving a certain report involving the word "Baxter" (with digital graphics and texts of "NEVER
GIVING UP" and "7-YEAR-OLD BOY FIGHTING CANCER").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channels for
WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. and the local
news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV
during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30" and "FOX
10 News at 9:00 p.m." respectively) appeared to have had one of
their respective news presenters (Rose Ann Haven for the first program mentioned;
Lenise Ligon for the second program mentioned) and some other beings discussing a certain
"game" named "Fortnite".
- The local news program that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have
had a certain being saying, "My name is Payton, I am eleven years old,
and I lived in Atmore, Alabama. I want to be a meteorologist when I grow
up, but for now here's the gulf coast's best meteorologist with your
local forecast" (and a certain digital graphic related to WKRG-TV and some digital graphics resembling texts of "FUTURE FORECASTER", "HISTORY MUSEUM OF MOBILE", "ICE AGE IMPERIALS", and "OPEN NOW-AUGUST 26") before appearing to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Alan Sealls) saying, "Thank you, Payton. She represents Atmore well. She does
have a good future in meteorologist. She knows it's not raining in
Atmore right now (with some digital graphics behind him) immediately afterwards. .
- A certain part of a
certain TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the second
half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Friday ("Gulf Coast Today") appeared to have had a certain graphic involving texts of
"Friday the 13th fears" and "Some say Friday the thirteenth is unlucky because
Tupac and Fidel Castro both were killed on the date" and one of its
hosts (Terra Reeves) saying,
"Some people who may label Friday the
thirteenth as unlucky are Tupac and Fidel Castro as both were killed on
the faithful date" without ever appearing to have had any explanation regarding the "Tupac" and "Fideo Castro" parts (note #1: the program appeared to have
had a certain guest of hers (saying,
"This is the first time I've--I've considered Tupac and Fidel Castro"
immediately after appearing to have had her saying the aforementioned statement attributed (note #2: a certain Facebook page related to the host named Terra Reeves appeared to have had a recording of this part of the program)).
- The last two minutes of the local news program that appeared on the
main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the twelfth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have
its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "All right, everybody, we have some special
guests in our studio from Dancing with the Stars Daycare and Preschool.
Did y'all have a good time?", some beings appearing beside her and one one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy) saying, "Yes" immediately afterwards, the news
presenter saying, "All right, so they are so excited because they really
are really on live TV" immediately afterwards, the reporter saying,
"Yes, they are. You can see all yourselves. There you go" immediately
afterwards, and the news presenter saying, "All right, everybody. Want
to help us wave good bye to everybody?" before appearing have had them doing so (note #1: a certain Facebook page related to WFNA-TV
appeared to have had received a message regarding WKRG-TV and a certain
"Dancing with the Stars Daycare Preschool" from its administration that
Thursday (note #2: WKRG-TV and WFNA-TV were related to each other due
to their having been part of a certain holding company named the Nexstar Media Group by then in recent times)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Monday of the eighteenth day of this June appeared to have had one
reporters (Thomas Geboy) saying, "And good evening, gulf coast. I hope
your Monday treated you well and just remember we're just another day
closer to Friday -- always looking at the bright side of things"; audio
of one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "One of the men
police say was linked to a wanted deadly hit-and-run suspect says he's
innocent -- the bizarre story of the mystery surrounding the
connection"; its other news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "Happening
tomorrow, the first ever shark fishing season opens at Gulf State Park
pier -- ten lucky anglers will drop their lines from eight until
midnight. The pier will close for rou--routine use thirty minutes before
the event and then it will reopen thirty minutes after. It's not late
to apply for tomorrow's event, but there is still time to apply for next
Tuesday, the twenty-sixth. So again tomorrow it's closed, but you can
still apply for the twenty-sixth. For details on how to apply visit WKRG
dot com. For now these are the only two dates scheduled, but if
everything goes well the season may be expanded"; the news presenter
mentioned first saying, "Coming up on News 5, Mobile Fire and Mobile
police are the first to enjoy the new lights at Sage Park; find out if
the basketball talent matches the smack-talking by Mobile police or did
they get burned"; the news presenter mentioned second saying, "Ha, ha.
All right, that was Dana Winter reporting. The fire department ended up
winning tonight. The score was forty-two to twenty-nine. Mel, they
smoked them. Chief Battiste says they plan to turn the lights off every
night at ten o'clock so the players can have a little extra time to
practice their shots" after appearing to have had a certain video of a certain report involving the words "fire" and "department".
