News for Tuesday, July 10th, 2018

 (note: one of the paragraphs in an earlier version of the previous report for this weblog ("News for Monday, July 9th, 2018") was removed on account of a paragraph similar to it having been posted here for an earlier report ("News for Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018"))
  • A certain Facebook page related to WAVH-FM appeared to had received a certain message involving text of, "We are trying to get the station back on-air as soon as possible" from its administration on the Monday of the tenth day of this July.  
  • A certain TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Tuesday of the tenth day of this July ("Studio 10") appeared to have had one of its hosts (Joe Emer) saying the following phrases to one of its guests: 'Now Dani when we were talking about Rocky we got to talk about Creed and when we talk about Creed we got to talk about Michael B. Jordan", and, "Michael B. Jordan is Dani's boyfriend; he doesn't--he doesn't know yet, but if you're out there, just to let you know Michael B., that's what's going on".  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the eighth day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Shelby Myers) saying, "Listen to this: the U-S Coast Guard and other agencies recovering thirty-five kilograms of cocaine" and its other news presenter (Lee Peck) saying, "If you drive a Mazda or know someone who does, you need to hear this: the company is recalling nearly two hundred seventy thousand vehicles with Takata airbags that could explode" for some of its reports.      
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the second day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well, a guy minding his own business, rear ended by a suspected robber during a high-speed chase on I-ten", its other news presenter (Byron Day) saying, "That chase ended when the suspect's car ran into several others near Malbis, and get this, one of the people in that getaway car actually hitched a ride away from the scene. Hi there, everybody, I'm Byron Day" immediately afterwards, the news presenter mentioned first saying, "And I'm Lenise Ligon. It's good to see you; we certainly have a lot to talk about tonight" immediately afterwards, and the news presenter mentioned second saying, "Do we ever" immediately afterwards. 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the eighth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy) saying, "We'll have more on the tropics in just a bit, but, moving closer to home, this evening's time lapse from the sunset from, uh, down -- from mid-town Mobile looking towards the west -- got those puffy cumulus clouds there in the distance; you can see them constantly bubble up; moves--moving in from the south; and then as we approach sunset, you get the nice burst of colors. It was nice to finally see some blue sky to get one of those sunset time lapses and for one of those time lapses you can head over to my Facebook page at WKRGThomasGeboy. Here's a look outside the UnitiFiver camera [in] downtown Pensacola: All is nice and quiet and that is the way we like it." (note: a certain Facebook page related to the reporter appeared to have had been used by its administration to upload videos of other reports like this one in recent times (such as one named "July 8th Sunday Night Forecast") that Sunday).
