News for Thursday, July 26th, 2018
- The broadcast frequency for WHIL-FM (91.3 megacycles) occasionally had
no programming between the beginning of the hour of 1:00 a.m. and the
beginning of the hour of 4:00 a.m. this Thursday.
- The broadcast frequency for the station mentioned in the paragraph near
the top of this report often had two different programs being broadcast
simultaneously during the hour of 4:00 a.m. this Thursday (note #1: a certain World Wide Web site related to WHIL-FM had an audio stream that also two
different programs being broadcast simultaneously (note #2: the
broadcast frequency and the audio stream each began having only one program within five minutes of the beginning of the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Thursday)).
- The main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV appeared to have had a certain
being (inside a digital box with texts such as "MALONEY[dot]FROST[dot]LYONS[comma]LLC"*)
saying, "I'm attorney David J. Maloney. You're watching 'America's
Court', with Judge Ross, on WFNA" immediately before appearing
to have had a certain program named "America's Court with Judge Ross" at the beginning of the second half of the hour of 2:00 p.m. this Thursday (note: some of the main broadcast channels for some of the local TV stations in southwest Alabama occasionally appeared to have had advertisements for a certain entity named "MALONEY[dot]FROST[dot]LYONS[comma]LLC" before this Thursday in recent times).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Tuesday of the twenty-third day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon)
saying, "It's shark week and you've got a lot of things to do to sink
your teeth into", some audio of a disembodied voice similar to
sighing immediately afterwards, the news presenter saying, "Over --
yes, thanks Byron --" immediately afterwards, and some audio of a disembodied voice similar to laughter immediately afterwards (note #1: the news presenter appeared to had this immediately afterwards (for a report): "Over at Gulf
State Park Pier in Gulf Shores..." (note #2: the program had a news presenter named Byron (Byron Day to be precise) in addition to the one named Lenise Ligon)).
- A certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV
appeared to had received a certain article on the Wednesday of the
twenty-fifth day of this July in which a
certain phrase attributed to a certain subject named "Rachel
Lustgarten" was stated to had been given to a certain other subject named "CBS
News" whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast
channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("WKRG
News 5 at 10") appeared to have a certain video involving text of "RACHEL LUSTGARTEN" and "FOOD
SAFETY EXPERT" appearing over a certain being appearing to say the same phrase mentioned earlier without any mention of "CBS News" or any mention as to whether the being was speaking to a certain being or entity other than "CBS News" or not (note: a certain part of the site appeared to have had a copy of the part of the program involving the video along with the article)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the
Wednesday of the twenty-fifth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 10")
appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom)
mentioning part of the name of one of the local radio stations in their
local broadcast area (WNSP-FM) for a report without mentioning whether he was referencing the station or not ("Senior Bowl
executive director Jim Nagy indicated yesterday at the city council
meeting that the Senior Bowl is on board for moving west to
USA if and when a new stadium is built. There had been some questions
if Ladd-Peebles Stadium is not torn down, could it still host Senior
Bowl practices. Speaking this morning on WNSP Radio, Nagy indicated that
the NFL has had no problems with practices at Ladd, but he said they
would probably move practices to South Alabama to accommodate the NFL
Network, who televise practices as well as the game. (note: the local
news that appeared on the channel during the second half of the hour of
6:00 p.m. earlier that day ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have a conversation with statements similar to those of the ones attributed to the reporter earlier in this paragraph involving the same reporter)).
