News for Saturday, July 28th, 2018 (amended)

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-sixth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 10:00") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Alan Sealls) saying this for a certain part of it related to weather: "Record high at ninety-eight, which is a low record for this time of the year -- now that was set in nineteen eighty-three, and on this week in nineteen eighty-three, the police [or Police] sang, 'Every Breath You Take'. Nineteen eighty-three -- they left out...you'll be inhaling humidity". 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-sixth day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of it news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "My goodness! We've got the details next" for one of its reports immediately before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day (transcript of report: "A rash of burglaries in west Mobile neighborhood -- we're going to hear from one of the victims. Plus an SUV swallowed by a sinkhole -- the passenger making a narrow escape -- my goodness! -- we've got the details next"). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-sixth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 5") appeared to have had a discussion between its news presenters (Peter Albrecht and Devon Walsh) and a certain guest of theirs regarding certain bacteria whereas a certain Facebook page related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had been used by its administration to stream live video of another discussion regarding the same type of bacteria involving the same guest and a news presenter for some other news programs for the news operation at WKRG-TV (Rose Ann Haven).   
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-sixth day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had some warnings from one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) and one of its reporters (a news reporter named Lee Peck) before appearing to have had a certain video regarding a certain subject immediately afterwards (note: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. later that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had similar warnings from a different news presenter (Byron Day) and the same reporter before appearing to have had the same video immediately afterwards).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twenty-fifth day of this July ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Tonight's Powerball numbers, uh, have been drawn, so get your tickets out. A hundred and forty-seven million dollars at stake right now,  so let's get to it. The numbers are two, eighteen, forty-one, forty-four, sixty-four, and the Powerball number twenty-six. Did you win?" and audio of a certain other being saying, "Call us" immediately afterwards before appearing to have had sounds similar to laughter immediately afterwards (note: the program appeared to have had an animated sequence involving graphics resembling text of "BREAKING NEWS" immediately before appearing to have had the news presenter named Lenise Ligon presenting the statements attributed to her earlier in this paragraph). 
  • The broadcast frequency for WXQW-AM had certain programs named "First Light" and "America's Morning News" during some of the hours in which its programming had usually  involved certain programs connected to a certain radio host named Doug Stephan from Monday through Friday in recent times on the Friday of the twenty-seventh day of this July (specifically the second of those hours for the one named "First Light" (the hour of 7:00 a.m.) and the third of those hours for the one named "America's Morning News" (the hour our 8:00 a.m.) that Friday (update for Monday, July 30th, 2018: the frequency had a program named "America in the Morning" during the first of those hours this Monday (the hour of 6:00 a.m.) in addition to having the ones mentioned earlier in the same hours mentioned earlier later this Monday (note #1: the frequency had a program also named "America in the Morning" during the 4:00 a.m. and a program also named "First Light" during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Monday (note #2: the frequency usually had programs with those names in those periods of time on calendar days other than Saturday and Sunday in recent times))).
  • A certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to had received a certain article named "EXCLUSIVE: Mobile Police drop their lip sync battle video, and it's epic!" regarding the news operation for WKRG-TV and a certain video for a certain department of police on the Friday of the twenty-seventh day of this July (note: the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. that Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) presenting a report with details similar to those of the article (note #1: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. later that Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had a presentation of a report similar to the one mentioned earlier in this paragraph with the exception of the news presenter mentioned earlier in this paragraph saying, "You know Mel Showers taught the chief everything he knows in those moves -- in case you didn't know" and the program appearing to have had sounds similar to laughter immediately afterwards during the presentation (note #2: one of the news presenters for the program was named Mel Showers (note #3: the program appeared to have had the news presenter named Mel Shower laughing immediately after the presentation before appearing to have had the same presenter appearing to do a presentation involving a different report regarding a different subject immediately afterwards))).
