- The local news program that appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00
p.m. this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one
of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom), saying, "Thank
you, the sportscaster. The BayBears played another home game tonight
against the Jumbo Shrimp of Jacksonville and the BayBears win seven to
three. They won three in a row -- they ate a lot of cocktail sauce this
week" immediately after appearing to have a certain animated sequence
with audio of a certain announcer saying, "Now Randy Patrick with your
WKRG News 5 sports" immediately one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time this Friday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday
of the nineteenth day of this June ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying phrases such as, "More
tragedy in the gulf" and, "News 5 first broke this story on our digital
media: we sent out a push alert around one o'clock this afternoon
letting our viewers know of the huge economic project. So to make sure

devices" for some of its presentations (note: the program appeared to have had digital graphics with texts of
"NEW $85 MILLION HOTEL COMING TO GULF SHORES", "1PM" and "WKRG" and audio of a certain musical tone during the part of the presentation involving the words
"push alert").
- A certain World Wide Web site related to WPMI-TV
appeared to have an article dated for the Thursday of the fifth day of
this July concerning a certain building often used by other broadcasters
in southwest Alabama in recent times along with a video with details
similar to those of the article (note #1: the names of those other
broadcasters were WKRG-TV, WFNA-TV WNTM-AM, WKSJ-FM, WMXC-FM, WRKH-FM,
WRGV-FM, and WTKX-FM (note #2: one of the presenters of the details in
the video appeared to had been a former member of the news operation for
WKRG-TV named Darwin Singleton
(note #3: the names of the broadcasters were not mentioned in the
article or the video (the names of some companies connected to them (the Nexstar Media Group for the TV stations; iHeart Radio for the radio stations)
were mentioned though (note #4: the name of one of those companies
(Nexstar) appeared to had been spelled differently for the article
("NexStar")).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Friday
("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a
weather reporter named Taylor Sarallo) saying, "In our area we are
worried about the chance of some isolated showers and thunderstorms --
just your typical summertime weather", its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "No word on the color choice" with emphasis for ones of
its reports ("A traffic alert that drivers in Mobile need to be aware
of: The Bankhead Tunnel in downtown Mobile is shutting down next week
for several hours over night. You see the tunnel is getting a vibrant
makeover. A Twitter post from the Alabama Department of Transportation
says the tunnel is closing from Monday through Thursday from nine p.m.
until four p.m. -- no word on the color choice, all though they said it
will be vibrant"), and audio of the same news presenter saying, "Well coming up: It's a national holiday that'll make you hungry. We'll tell you the history behind National Fried Chicken Day when we come back" (while appearing to have had some video with digital
graphics and texts of "COMING UP" and "FRIED CHICKEN IS THE BEST")
before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of
time this Friday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Thursday
("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news
presenters (Byron Day) wearing eye glasses and removing them immediately
after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of
time that day; one of its reporters (Matt Barrentine) saying, "Just
make sure you wear plenty of
sunscreen -- that UV index thing -- or you'd turn into a lobster pretty
quickly" for a report related to weather; its other news presenter
(Lenise Ligon) saying, "Get ready: the Navy's precision flying team, the
Blue Angels, gearing up for a big show next weekend" and, "How about that?
The annual Pensacola Beach Air Show is next Saturday. A host of
world-glass aerobatic and flying-stunt performers as well as interactive
exhibits -- oh my goodness -- military recruitment stations and
all kind of vendors You can check out their first dress rehearsal as
well for the show next Friday or a practice show next Thursday. If you
plan to go to any of those events, get there early because as you know,
like the Blues you see here, they always draw a crowd", and the
news presenter mentioned earlier saying, "That guy's a winner" immediately after appearing
to have had a certain video involving digital graphics and text of "FOCUSING ON THE TARGET"
and "LOCAL ARCHER WINS 4TH IN THE WORLD".
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first halves of the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
this Friday ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 10" respectively)
appeared to have had of its reporters (the Randy Patrick Setterstrom mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report) presenting a report related to one of the radio
stations in their local broadcast area (report
for the first program: "Mobile's Phil Savage announcing yesterday he's
leaving the Tide radio booth as color analyst after nine seasons and
five national title calls; play by play announcer Eli Gold appeared on
WNSP radio this morning; said he's enjoyed his time with Phil; he said
he would be submitting some names as possible candidates to partner up
with him next season; he said A-D Greg Burn, coach Nick Saban, and the
president of the Crimson Tide network will add their input for their final
decision; and now Phil taking on the new general manager's job at the
new Phoenix team in the new Alliance of American Football League (report
for the second program mentioned: "Mobile's Phil Savage announced
yesterday he's leaving the Crimson Tide
radio
booth as color analyst after nine seasons and five national championship
calls. Play-by-play announcer Eli Gold appeared on WNSP radio this
morning and said he's enjoyed his time working with Phil and says he
would be
submitting some names as possible candidates to partner up with him this
season. He said athletic director Greg Burn, coach Nick Saban, and the
president of
the Crimson Tide radio network will add their input before a final
decision is made on who will replace Phil. Phil is taking a new job in
Phoenix, Arizona in the new Alliance of American Football League).
