The Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is shut down to visitors today from the Mulac male  jaguar. It escaped its habit and then killed six other animals. Now, Mulac escaped around seven thirty this morning and then was captured about four hours later. Officials say that jaguar mauled four alpacas, one emu, and one fox -- thankfully no people were hurt.  Zoo workers were able to sedate the big cat and then return it to its enclosure without any more injuries. It's not the first time this big cat escaped. Back in two thousand one, he got loose for about two minutes before he was taken down with a tranquilizer dart. An investigation is underway as to how he got out. The zoo is expected to be back open tomorrow. (note: the program appeared to have had a certain video involving digital graphics and texts of "JAGUAR ESCAPES ENCLOSURE KILLS SIX OTHER ANIMALS" and "AUDUBON ZOO, NEW ORLEANS" while appearing to had the aforementioned statements attributed to the aforementioned news presenter)).
