News for Monday, July 16th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WEAR-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of
5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Monday
("3 in the Morning") appeared to have had some video of a special news program from
their main provider of network programming (the American Broadcasting
Company (ABC)) during the hour of 6:00 a.m. for this Monday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the fifteenth day
of the month of July for the calendar year 2018 ("FOX 10 News at 9:00
p.m.") appeared to have had a certain video of a certain report
without any mention of its narrator, whether it originally made for the news operation at WALA-TV or not, or whether it was related to their local broadcast area or not
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had a certain guest of one of its contributors (its news presenter (Devon Walsh)) saying the following statement regarding a certain other guest of hers that she described as both a "dog" and a "puppy" earlier in its broadcast: "She's got lab in her for crying out loud, she's not going to be stupid".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the eighth day
of this July ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of
one of its news presenters (Shelby Myers)
saying, "Congrats to all the athletes" immediately after appearing to
have had audio of her saying, "Athletes representing our area at the
Special Olympics USA Games are racking up on medals: Sissy Flanigan won
silver in the fifty meter freestyle, John Rabbeitt is bringing home a
bronze medal in the bench press and a fourth-place medal in the dead
lift, David Hall won a silver medal in squat and bronze medals in dead
lift and bench press, and Katie Cobb won silver in bocce doubles with
her partner Pauleen Bynum. Katie also ranked fifth in singles" while
appearing to have had a certain video with digital graphics and texts of
"LOCAL ATHLETES FIND SUCCESS" and "SPECIAL OLYMPICS USA GAMES".
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of
the fifteenth day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have
had one of its reporters (a sports
reporter named Robby Baker)
saying, "I want to say, first of all, uh, I'm glad to be back, happy to
be back -- I heard you guys had a big dedication last week -- I'm also
happy to be back with the--the fans. You know we always we get a lot of
fun messages and stuff from the fans after the 'Sports Overtime' shows
air. This week, though, we got one that kind of trumped everything --
found out we actually got a big fan of the show who's actually a Super
Bowl champ. Guys, check this out" before appearing to have had a certain
video
involving a certain being saying, " Hi, this is Leon Lett: three-time
Super Bowl champ. I'm inviting you to watch Robby Baker on Sports
Overtime. Go Robby!" (note: a certain Facebook page related to WKRG-TV
appeared to had been used by its administration to upload what appeared
to had been a recording of the part of the program involving that video
this Monday).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first and second halves of the hours of 5:00 p.m. and
10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the fifteenth day of this July ("WKRG News 5
at 5" and "WKRG News 5 at 10" respectively) appeared to have had videos with
reports ending in ways that were usually not part of their broadcasts in
those periods of time before that Sunday in recent times (the video on the first mentioned had ended with "Eyewitness News" whereas the one on the second program mentioned had ended with "WLOX News Now" as part of their respective reports (note: a certain Internet video stream that usually appeared to have had local news programming for WKRG-TV before this Monday in recent times appeared to have had a certain installment of a certain program related to sports that was usually
advertised as being part of the programming of the channel during the second half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on Sunday nights in recent times ("WKRG Sports Overtime") appeared
to have had a certain video involving a certain report ending with the words "Alabama
News Network" this Monday).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-sixth
day of the month of June for this calendar year ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio
of a certain disembodied voice being used to say the word "no"
immediately after appearing to have had one of its news presenters
(Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well it looks like you won't be able to fly a
drone over some prisons or Coast Guard facilities. The Federal Aviation
Administration deciding today drones are going to be barred from the air
above four hundred feet above those facilities. Prison leaders say the
technology could be used to drop contraband to the inmates" for one of
its reports (note #1: the volume of the disembodied voice was lower than that of the volume of the voice of the presenter (note #2: the program appeared to have had a certain video involving digital graphics and texts "NO
DRONES OVER MANY PRISONS" and "AND SOME COAST GUARD FACILITIES" while having that report)).
