- I was wondering why this past Wednesday's edition of WALA-TV's local 5:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.) had a report about the date of its broadcast (April 8th) being the 41st anniversary of the 715th home run of a professional baseball player from Mobile named Henry (Hank) Aaron since it seemed very odd for them to have it after the 40th anniversary and the big celebrations they and other local TV stations had around that time and since they did not always have reports about its anniversary without any mention of big celebratory plans (I would have not allowed for that report to be broadcast for both of the reasons I had mentioned and the fact that it was not really news).
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
