• According to the official Facebook page for Alabama Public Radio, they had technical problems in their radio network this past Friday, April 10th, and this past Tuesday, April 14th (the first set of problems affected all of their network stations; the second set of problems affected only one of the stations: WHIL-FM (91.3) in Mobile's radio market)

• One of the regular news presenters for the local morning news program titled "WKRG News 5 This Morning" used today's edition of the program to talk about a news report involving a cousin of hers she had found on the World Wide Web site for the New York Daily News as part of its segments about the World Wide Web titled "Around the Web and Around the World" (the name of the news presenter was Avery Cotton; the name of the cousin was Leslie Shannon).

• The regular news presenter for WPMI-TV's local morning and midday news programs (her name was Kelly Jones; the names of the programs were "Local 15 Today" and "Local 15 News at Noon" respectively) laughed at a group of people in a video recording of a past Hangout Music Festival on today's edition of the midday news program while a colleague of hers (named Taren Reed) presented a report about guests scheduled to appear at a future Hangout Music Festival expected to take place this May before explaining her laughter (she had recalled the video being featured on the local morning news program and the group being called "the three amigos" on the program).
