- The main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV* had a new edition of a local news program that usually only appeared on the main broadcast channel for their companion station** WKRG-TV*** between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday instead of a new edition of a nationally-syndicated news program that it usually had at the same time as the local one from Monday through Friday as part of its programming today (the name of the local program was "WKRG News 5 This Morning"; the name of the syndicated one was "The Daily Buzz").
- According to a news article published on the official World Wide Web site for the Orlando Sentinel last Friday, April 17th, the reason the main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV had the local news program referenced in the previous paragraph instead of the syndicated one referenced in that paragraph also was due to the syndicated program being cancelled by the day the article was published.
