- Between the middle of this past March and this past Friday, April 3rd, WPMI-TV had images of various children playing baseball broadcast on a regular basis as part of their local morning news program (the name of the program was "Local 15 Today").
- WPMI-TV usually had a paid commercial program and a syndicated episode of the comedic TV program titled "Two and a Half Men" appear side by side through their main broadcast channel (radio frequency/virtual channel 15-1) on Saturday between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until this Saturday, when it had two episodes of "Two and a Half Men" between those times just like the time it usually did until sometime during the previous calendar year (2014).
- Between this past Friday and this Saturday, some of the news presenters in WPMI-TV's local news programming used a report about a new network TV program expected to be part of their main broadcast channel's programming this Sunday, April 5th (between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.), as a tool for promoting a special report expected to be part of the channel's programming later that day during their local 10:00 p.m. news program (the name of the new network program was "A. D.: The Bible Continues"; the name of the news program was "Local 15 News at 10:00 p.m.").
