• A former news reporter for WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee named Bethany Anderson recently became a news reporter for WPMI-TV (you may learn more about her life and career from her profiles on LinkedIn and part of an archived version of the official World Wide Web site for WKRN-TV). 

• According to the official World Wide Web site for the Federal Communications Commission, a set of call letters similar to the one for the Alabama Public Radio station licensed to serve Mobile (WHIL-FM) was reserved for a church in Ringville, Massachusetts on the Wednesday of last September 10th, except it had the suffix "-LP" rather than "-FM". 

• A graphic with the phrases "Weather Alert Day" and "Be Aware" occasionally appeared in WKRG-TV's local news programming between this past Wednesday, April 15th, and today before reports about rain predicted for their local broadcast area while flood warnings were in affect for parts of the area.

• Some of the presenters in WKRG-TV's local news programming between this past Wednesday and today said the phrase "Weather Alert Day" on a frequent basis due to the aforementioned reports about rain predicted for their local broadcast area (one of the presenters in the programming constantly said what he and other presenters for WKRG-TV meant by the phrase "Weather Alert Day" He even said that he did not want to alarm anyone with it (his name was John Nodar).
