News for Monday, April 13th, 2015

The main announcer for promoting syndicated programs for WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV and the one for promoting their local news programs have their own personal sites on the World Wide Web (the name of the announcer for the syndicated programs was Jerry Thompson; the name of the one for the local news programs was Steve Mapel).

On Sunday, April 12th, one of the news presenters on WALA-TV's local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") presented a report about her accepting an award from the National Constables and Marshals Association for a report she did for WALA-TV titled "Who's Watching the Constables" (the name of the news presenter was Renee Dials).

WKRG-TV had an obsolete promotional advertisement for the national TV programming service Memorable Entertainment Television (Me-TV) appear on their main broadcast channel* on a regular basis recently (the advertisement had mentions and video clips of a program no longer part of Me-TV's programming plans for Monday through Friday; "The Adventures of Superman").
