• An administrator for the official Facebook page for WKRG-TV posted a graphic with false information about their broadcast operation onto the page this past Wednesday, April 1st, in honor of April Fools' Day (the graphic and the reason for its existence were mentioned on their local morning news program titled "WKRG News 5 This Morning" by one of its regular news presenters that day.

• Today's edition of WKRG-TV's local 9:00 a.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 9") had a segment about home improvement with one of the weather reporters for their local news programming and the host of a nationally-syndicated TV program produced in Mobile titled "Today's Homeowner" (the name of the weather reporter was John Nodar; the name of the host for the syndicated TV program was Danny Lipford).

• The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV (radio frequency/virtual channel 15-1) did not have all of the special network news programming that their main provider of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company, also known as NBC) was providing between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. or any of the special news programming they had provided between 1:20 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. today (the channel had a local news program titled "Local 15 News at Noon" by the time it had the special programming between segments of it between 12:50 p.m. and 12:55 p.m. and an episode of the network program "Days of Our Lives" during the other special programming).
