News for Friday, April 24th, 2015

On Wednesday, April 22nd, a "time-lapse" video of the main set for WPMI-TV's local news programming being constructed was uploaded onto their official World Wide Web site in honor of the third anniversary of their first high-definition news broadcast that day.

According to some messages attributed to an administrator for the official Facebook page for a business based in Mobile named Sign Pro, WPMI-TV and their companion station WJTC-TV (they were owned by the same company) recently got some new logo signs for the exterior of their broadcast facility in Mobile that were created by the business.

During the last few seconds of this past Thursday's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") on April 23rd, the general manager of WALA-TV (Gary Yoder) appeared on the program from behind the news desk for their local news programming (one of the hosts for "Studio 10" (Joe Emer) said, "There he is! We got him on TV! Yes!" immediately after the general manager appeared on the program).
