News for Thursday. April 23rd, 2015

The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV (radio frequency channel 47-1/virtual channel 5-1) did not have any of the special news programming that its regular provider of network programming was providing between 9:15 a.m. and 9:22 a.m. today (the name of the provider was the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)).

The main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV (radio frequency/virtual channel 15-1) and WEAR-TV (radio frequency channel 17-1/virtual channel 3-1) had special news programming from their regular providers of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) and the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) respectively) at the time of the special news programming from the one for the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV.

The news presenter on the local 9:00 a.m. news program WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel at the time of all the aforementioned special news programming mentioned some of the news all of them had (the name of the news presenter was Devon Walsh; the name of the local news program was "WKRG News 5 at 9").
